The book’s co-author, Jeffrey Richard Thill, M.D., is a Board Certified Urologist who pioneered the use of robotic surgery 20 years ago and continues to save patients today. He is the surgeon who operated on Mr. Mason and he currently works part-time at the Urology Institute of Central Florida. Dr. Thill’s formal education included obtaining his B.A. (Summa Cum Laude) from McPherson College, McPherson. Kansas, M.D. degree from the University of Iowa and completed his urology residency at the University of Florida in 1993 where he then served as a Clinical Professor of Urology at Shands Hospital. From 1993 to 2007, he received a succession of awards for his excellence in understanding and teaching urology issues consistently for over 20 years. He maintains active participation in the Florida Urology Society and American Urology Association.
